summary
The Perú Local Network aspires for significant increase in the number of Professional Farmer Organizations (FOs) that deliver improved, sustainable returns for their members. AMEA will bring together stakeholders who work with professional FOs, harmonizing and aligning the capacity development of FOs to be more efficient under the IWA 29 (a nationally owned and internationally acknowledged normative platform). This maximizes potential synergies between Private Sector, Government Support Agencies, NGOs, donor agencies and FOs.
focus areas
- Support mechanisms to deliver Business Development Services that lead to more effective and efficient professionalization trajectories for FOs (leaving nobody behind)
- Create dynamic, responsive and structured Local Networks with mutual benefits for all members
- Enhance AMEA’s work with data, information, and institutional learning to address challenges regarding data access, transparency and privacy.
- Build on the adoption of the IWA29 in LAC, to encourage in policy and Planning, Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning by multiple stakeholders
