The Local Network in Côte d’Ivoire is working towards an improved enabling environment for more professional farmers organisations and SMEs. This includes assisting farmer organisations in adopting professional operation standards, defragmenting capacity development and catalysing access to markets and sustainable investment opportunities for agri-SMEs
focus areas
- Promoting the IWA 29 and its integration into assessment and capacity building tools
- Encourage the use of AMEA tools for an improved Business Development Services ecosystems
- Establish a community of best practice around the use of assessments and capacity building tools
- Create more dialogue space and businesses opportunities between stakeholders for sustainable investments in farmers organizations and agri-SMES
- Brokering between members, financial service providers and farmer organisations through learning events and the promotion of bankability metrics
